This 7 min., 25 sec. video, developed for elementary-aged students, describes how common sounds in our environment—when too loud, too close, or too long-lasting—can put us at risk for permanent hearing loss. It also teaches students how they can protect their hearing against noise-induced hearing loss by becoming "ear defenders."
