The Oregon Department of Energy, federal government, foundations, non-profits, and utilities provide incentives, grants, rebates, or services to help you implement energy efficiency or renewable resource projects in your home or business. This is not a comprehensive list of those resources. This listing is provided as a service. Here are a few sources to help you access incentives, grants, or services:
The Oregon Department of Energy offers Residential Energy Tax Credits for purchasing premium efficiency appliances and HVAC equipment, hybrid vehicles, and for renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, or geothermal. The Business Energy Tax Credit program provides tax credits for businesses that invest in conservation measures, sustainable building, transportation projects, etc. In addition, the Energy Policy Act 0f 2005 included federal tax incentives for energy efficieny and renewable energy. Publicly owned utilities in Oregon provide incentives for home energy efficiency. To find out program details or about incentives for your business visit your electric utilities Web site directly. Customers of Portland General Electric, PacifiCorp and NW Natural can get services and incentives through the Energy Trust of Oregon.
Information on the many federal and foundation sources of project funding for commercial industrial, transportation or agricultural efficiency can be found at this U.S. Department of Energy site.

The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance is a non-profit corporation supported by electric utilities, public benefits administrators, state governments, public interest groups and energy efficiency industry representatives. These entities work together to make affordable, energy-efficient products and services available in the marketplace. These partners deliver residential, commercial and industrial market transformation projects and programs primarily in Oregon, Washington Idaho and Montana.
