NIEHS has several resources available to researchers, both inside and outside of the Institute.

    The Databases (http://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/resources/databases/index.cfm) page contains items that are important tools in the field of environmental science, such as the Biomarkers of Oxidative Stress Study (BOSS), the Microarray Center cDNA Clone Search and more.

  • Electron Paramagnetic Resonance/Electron Spin Resonance (EPR/ESR)

    The Electron Paramagnetic Resonance/Electron Spin Resonance (EPR/ESR) page is a resource for scientists studying the involvement of free radicals in pathological disease.

  • Environmental Health Perspectives

    Environmental Health Perspectives (EHP) (http://www.ehponline.org) is the journal of the NIEHS and serves as a forum for the discussion of the interrelationships between the environment and human health. It publishes peer-reviewed research and the most current and credible news of the field.

  • Hurricane Response

    The NIEHS Hurricane Response (http://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/resources/hurricane/index.cfm)compiles and organizes environmental health materials with regard to the aftermath of natural and man-made disasters. It focuses on medical information, environmental response and recovery resources.

  • Library & Information Services Branch

    The NIEHS Library & Information Services Branch (LISB) (http://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/resources/library/index.cfm) plays a vital role within the NIEHS research community by managing information and knowledge about environmental health.

  • NIEHS Bioethics

    The NIEHS Bioethics Office (http://www.niehs.nih.gov/research/resources/bioethics/index.cfm), led by David B. Resnick, J.D., Ph.D., works with the NIEHS Institutional Review Board, the Office of Clinical Research, the Office of the Director and the NIEHS Division of Extramural Research to help develop institutional policies that promote research integrity and compliance with federal research policies and regulations.
