Protein Expression

Core Facilities

Mission Statement

The Protein Expression Core Facility (PECF) was created in February 2003 to assist investigators at the NIEHS with their protein expression requirements. The PECF strives to provide guidance and aid in protein expression from initial plasmid construction through expression optimization and protein purification. PECF staff members work directly with investigators to determine how to best meet their goals and provide training so that an investigator's group can take over once the goal has been met.

Location

The PECF is located in room F-331. Contact the facility by phone at 541-4766 or by emailing Robert Petrovich (petrovi1@niehs.nih.gov).
