Provides action steps for public health, law enforcement, judiciary, and corrections personnel to improve cross-sectoral coordination for emergency preparedness and response. These four sectors share overlapping responsibilities for the public's health and welfare, yet in general they tend to operate in isolation from one another. The document identifies four action steps: (1) organizing to implement opportunities for action; (2) roles and responsibilities; (3) communication and information sharing; and (4) education, training, and exercises.
