Hello and welcome to lessonĀ 10 Help!
Where to go and who to ask.
This lesson is extremely important because each year the IRS updates this lesson to include new tax law, new procedures, and anything else that's new and could effect you, the small business taxpayer.
Even though you've completed this workshop remember to check this lesson next year to find out what's new for small businesses.
You can access the workshop online or if you want a refresher you can go to our products page and order a new DVD.
Tax law changes usually come at the end of the year so start checking our web page in December and January for the latest updates and don't forget, the main IRS web page for small businesses is updated all the time.
Check it throughout the year for the latest on small business tax issues.
Now for the where to go and who to ask part of our lesson.
There's a lot of small business information available from federal and state governments.
In this lesson you'll find useful links to other federal government agencies, toll free telephone numbers and useful publications.
All the links we mention throughout the workshop are consolidated in this lesson.
If you're an employer you can access information on individual state employment taxes.
State requirements vary so it's a good idea to check these pages, especially if you pay employment taxes to more than one state.
Thank you for taking the Virtual Small Business Tax Workshop.
We hope this workshop helped you understand your tax rights and responsibilities as a small business taxpayer.
And finally, good luck in your new business.
