Message from the Under Secretary  
Dear ITA Employee:

Welcome to ITA's Strategic Planning and Performance Management website. By this time you have been introduced to ITA's key goals and objectives. I encourage you to read our Strategic Plan and become familiar with the strategic goals and the objectives we want to achieve over the next five years to meet the needs of our customers and address the concerns of our stakeholders. As you review our goals and objectives, you will see that they can be met only if we work together as one ITA team. To help us meet this challenge, a new set of ITA-wide performance measures has been developed. The measures will help us to understand what's important and allow us to focus on the things we need to do, individually and together, to achieve our goals and objectives.

This website provides you with an overview of the Performance Measures and the ITA Strategic Goals and Performance Objectives each measure supports. These measures will provide information on the progress we are making.

I hope that you and your coworkers will think about what contributions you and your work group, in collaboration with your ITA coworkers, can make to the achievement of our goals and objectives. Your involvement, leadership and accountability are critical to our success.
