Public Health Impacts
NIEHS research has provided the foundation for many important public health interventions and policies, and is continually being used to improve human health. Examples of some of these "success stories" are described in this section.
For Health Professionals
This section provides access to materials and guidance for use by health professionals in educating, diagnosing, and treating patients with conditions and diseases influenced by environmental agents.
The NIEHS has had a longtime commitment to educating the next generation of scientists, as well as instilling in all students an understanding of the connection between human and environmental health. This section provides access to K-12 educational materials, tools, and programs created through NIEHS funding.
