Grandmothers Tea Toolkit
The Illinois State Breastfeeding Task Force in collaboration with the Illinois Department of Public Healths' Nutrition and Physical Activity to Prevent Obesity Program designed a Grandmothers Tea tool kit. The kit contains 4 lesson plans with corresponding scenario cards for activities. An 8 minute informational video accompanies the kit providing testimonials from those that have taught the program, grandmother attendees, etc.

Northside Breastfeeding Campaign
This campaign was a comprehensive, community based breastfeeding promotion project, tailored to reach the African American population in the Near North community of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

This brochure was developed by Illinois and promotes the role of the WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor.

Vietnamese Breastfeeding Education Materials
This Vietnamese language resource was developed by California as breastfeeding education pamphlets to be given to pregnant Vietnamese women. Myths associated with breastfeeding and problems seen during breastfeeding, as well as factors that might deter Vietnamese women from breastfeeding, were concluded to be the major issues to be addressed in the materials.

WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Training Manual
This manual was developed by Calfornia and was designed specifically to train peer counselors to provide breastfeeding support to WIC participants. Also available in Spanish and Mandarin.

Your Life is Easier When You Breastfeed [PDF]
This 2-page handout from Maine was developed during an Easy to Read workshop for use in promoting breastfeeding. It specifically addresses concerns that women choose to formula feed based on their perception that it is easier than breastfeeding.
