Event

December 14

Last day to make changes to the January 2, 2008 payments.

January 1

Federal Health Benefits Program Open Season enrollment changes become effective. New premiums first reflected in the February 1 payment.

January 2

Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) appears in payments, which represents benefits for the month of December 2007. Annuitants receive annual mailing about COLA and other information.

January 11

Last day to make changes to the February 1, 2008 payments.

January 31

Statement of Earnings, Form 1099R, should have been received by everyone who received payments in 2007.

February 1

Health benefit premiums effective January 1, 2008 appear in payments.

February 15

Last day to make changes to the March 1, 2008 payments.

March 21

Last day to make changes to the April 1, 2008 payments.

April 18

Last day to make changes to the May 1, 2008 payments.

May 16

Last day to make changes to the June 2, 2008 payments.

June 20

Last day to make changes to the July 1, 2008 payments.

July 18

Last day to make changes to the August 1, 2008 payments.

August 22

Last day to make changes to the September 2, 2008 payments.

September 19

Last day to make changes to the October 1, 2008 payments.

October 24

Last day to make changes to the November 1, 2008 payments.

November 14

Last day to make changes to the December 1, 2008 payments.

Last day to make changes to the January 2, 2009 payments.
