Public Health Application Workers can assist you over the phone or in person with filling out a medical application or a form.

bullet Childbirth classes
Childbirth classes are taught by a certified Childbirth Instructor. Foreign language interpretation available. Arrangements can be made for in-home classes for women on bedrest

bullet Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN)
Provides linkage and coordination of services to all children with special needs and provides limited direct medical services, equipment and supplies to those families that meet financial and other program eligibility requirements. Learn more about CSCHN.

bullet Family Planning/STD clinic
Family planning services and education and reproductive health care includes HIV and STD screening, pregnancy tests, birth control.


bullet Group education (Pre-Natal, Mother/Baby, Toddler)
Each session of "Baby and Me" consists of 11 weeks of classes, covering parenting issues, child safety, developmental information, life skills for parents, discipline, medical concerns, nutrition and community resources.

bullet Home visits
Public Health Nurses visit clients in their homes to work with them on their concerns related to Maternal and Child Health, parenting, health and wellness concerns, domestic or child abuse, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, reproductive health and assistance with accessing basic resources.

bullet Interpreter services
Interpreter services are available to limited or non-English speaking clients by appointment for public health services.

bullet Maternity Support Services
MSS helps pregnant women find health insurance, local doctors or midwives and other community resources to support a healthy pregnancy. Individualized education and counseling services for women and their partners before and after birth. Provided in our clinic by a team of public health nurse, nutritionist and social worker.
