bullet Adult and child immunizations

bullet AIDS services
Information line, education to public and at-risk groups; speakers bureau, resource library, clinical evaluation, confidential and anonymous counseling and testing.

bullet Application workers
Public Health Application Workers can assist you over the phone or in person with filling out a medical application or a form.

bullet Blood pressure checks

bullet Burial permits

bullet Child health clinic
Physical examinations, immunizations, illness care. Medical and dental care (available at limited sites only) for children from birth to 20 years, including immunizations.

bullet Childbirth education classes

bullet Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN)
Assist in planning and obtaining medical care and other resources for the child with a disability or a condition that may prevent normal growth and development. For more information, visit the CSHCN website

bullet Dental clinic (serves clients from age 1 to 18 years old)
Call the Columbia Health Dental Clinic at (206) 296-4625 to make an appointment.

bullet Family Planning and STD Clinic
Family planning services and education and reproductive health care includes HIV and STD screening, pregnancy tests, birth control and referrals.

bullet Group Education (Pre-Natal, Mother/Baby, Toddler)
Group education sessions offered include prenatal classes and childbirth preparation, parenting groups, and health classes to pregnant and parenting adolescents in several school district's teen age parent programs.

bullet Home visits
Public Health Nurse visits are available to pregnant women, mothers with new babies and young children and families with health or parenting concerns. Services include health assessment, education and counseling and referral.

bullet Interpreter services
Interpreter services are available to limited or non-English speaking clients by appointment for public health services.

bullet Maternity Case Management/
Maternity Support Services

Provides initial maternity screening and referral with medical care, education, counseling, nutrition, transportation, assistance with medical coupons and child care vouchers.

bullet Maternal and infant services
Prenatal medical care by a physician, Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife (services at each Public Health Center vary, call Columbia Health Center to inquire about this particular service.)

bullet Tuberculosis testing
Screening and treatment for tuberculosis is available. TB skin testing and appropriate follow up are provided.
