The Arabian Gulf, Aug. 9, 2000 - Aviation Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Brian Nestley directs an E-2C Hawkeye of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two Five (the "Tigertails") on to the catapult on the flight deck of USS George Washington. The Hawkeye provides long-range, over-the-horizon command, control, and communications capability for the carrier and its battle group.
