Software Availability Information

Most scientific and technical software available from the Energy Science and Technology Software Center (ESTSC) had unlimited availability. Copyrighted software inquiries may be responded to by ESTSC staff or may be referred to the copyright holder.

Software packages in the collection can be used for many different applications, and are designed to run on personal computers, workstations, mainframes, and super computers. In many cases, the packages are available in several environments to allow the scientific and technical software to be used on various computers and operating systems. Software is available on CD-ROM. All software packages include supporting documentation, either in paper or electronic format.
