JWOD employee Cutting metal How to Participate in the AbilityOne Program

The AbilityOne Program is an example of government at its best. The mission of the program
is first and foremost to provide employment opportunities for people who are blind or have other severe disabilities, the program also serves federal customers by providing them with
high quality products and services, delivered on time and at a reasonable price. The American taxpayer also benefits from reduced disability payments made to people with severe disabilities and the increased tax revenues their employment generates.

For more information on how individuals with severe disabilities and the nonprofit agencies who serve them, federal customers, AbilityOne-authorized distributors and Defense Prime Contractors participate in the AbilityOne Program, please select from the links to the left of the screen.
