Subject: Treasury Report on Receivables - Combined Certification and
Verification
In an effort to streamline processes, the U.S. Treasury has combined the
certification and verification statements in support of the data reported via
the Treasury Report on Receivables (TROR) for FY 2004. In prior years, the
certification and verification requirements were submitted separately.
Since Treasury requires one submission per agency, all bureaus are requested to
complete the certification and verification statement per the attached
instructions, and submit it to the Office of Financial Management (PFM) with a
copy of your TROR by November 5, 2004. This will permit the Department to
include final debt referral metrics in the FY 2004 Performance and
Accountability Report. If your bureau has already submitted the TROR and can
provide the certification and verification statement before that date, we ask
that you please do so.
