Subject: Central Contractor Registration
On October 7, 2002, Debra Sonderman, Director Office of Acquisition and Property
Management, and Sky Lesher issued the attached memorandum establishing the
Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as the primary registration source for
vendors doing business with Interior. The CCR will contain key business
information regarding our business partners and includes bank routing data for
electronic funds transfer payments (EFT). The requirement for Interior vendors
to register started the beginning of FY 2003.
The finance community needs to familiarize itself and begin to use the CCR.
About a year ago, Bureau representatives serving on the Operations Advisory
Group were briefed on the capabilities of CCR. User information for the CCR and
how to gain access are available at:
