Subject: Change to the Federal Travel Regulations - Repeal of
Long-Distance Telephone Call Certification Requirement
Attached is a copy of page 67951, Federal Register, Volume 61, No. 249,
dated Thursday, December 26, 1996, which contains Federal Travel
Regulation, Amendment 55 (41 CFR Part 301-6). This amendment is a
final rule and amends the Federal Travel Regulation to change the
reference to the governing GSA regulation and to remove the requirement
for the agency head to certify each long distance telephone call.
