I-Mass Guides (http://i-mass.com/guide/imguide.html) Exit NIEHS Website
Mass spectrometry resources on the Web. Extensive links to mass spec data and dictionaries, protocols, tutorials (some video-based) and classic articles.

Journal of Visualized Experiments (http://www.myjove.com/index.stt?sinfo=mgEAAAQCJRrgAAAA&chnd=1&comp=cdrl00b&ts=44) Exit NIEHS Website
A unique online-only journal that provides video-based demonstrations of biological techniques and procedures. Each video-article will include step-by-step instructions on an experiment, a demonstration of equipment and reagents, and a short discussion by experts describing possible technical problems and modifications.

MassSpectator (http://www.ctcms.nist.gov/%7Ewallace/MassSpectator_intro.html) Exit NIEHS Website
This calculator from the National Institute of Standards and Technology allows researchers to enter output from a mass spec run and then specifies the location and size of the peaks. Input files must be simple ASCII text files of two columns - one for mass and one for ion intensity.

Microscopy and Imaging Resources (http://swehsc.pharmacy.arizona.edu/exppath/micro/) Exit NIEHS Website
Links to information on principles and techniques for several types of biological microscopies. From the Southwest Environmental Health Sciences Center, an NIEHS-funded center at the University of Arizona.

Microscopy.info (http://www.mwrn.com/) Exit NIEHS Website
Information resource on microscopes and microanalysis topics such as technical expertise and equipment evaluation, directories of laboratories and societies, glossary, training and short courses, resources for K-12 and a guide to online microscopy resources.

Molecular Expressions: Exploring the World of Optics and Microscopy (http://micro.magnet.fsu.edu/primer/) Exit NIEHS Website
Includes a primer on microscopy, but the site is noteworthy for its photo gallery of “photo-micro-graph” images (http://micro.magnet.fsu.edu/micro/gallery.html) Exit NIEHS Website using an optical microscope. Also includes tutorials on various microscopic instruments (Olympus MIC-D, stereoscopic zoom).

Separations Now (http://www.separationsnow.com/coi/cda/home.cda?chId=0) Exit NIEHS Website
A “community of interest” web site for researchers involved in separation science and chromatography. Covers electrophoresis, gas and HPL chromatography, hyphenated techniques and genomics. Features include news, education training modules, discussion boards, organized links to other Web resources and conference information.
