Cross Section Evaluation Working Group (CSEWG) 


The Cross Section Evaluation Working Group (CSEWG) is a cooperative effort of the national laboratories, industry, and universities in the United States and Canada, responsible for the production of the U.S. Evaluated Nuclear Data File ENDF/B.

ENDF/B-VII.0  ENDF/B-VII.0

ENDF/B-VII.0 has been released on December 15, 2006 after intensive evaluation and testing of preliminary versions were carried out in various laboratories (see CSEWG meetings 2006, 2005 and 2006 Meeting on Validation of ENDF/B-VII beta2). Detailed descripton of the ENDF/B-VII.0 library and its validation was published in the dedicated issue of Nuclear Data Sheets.

List of targets in ENDF/B-VII.0 library includes 393 targets or materials (381 isotopes, 9 isomers and 3 elements) for neutron reactions. Isomers are Co-58m, Ag-110m, Cd-115m, Te-127m, Te-129m, Pm-148m, Ho-166m, Am-242m, Am-244m and elements C-0, V-0, Zn-0. In addition, there are 48 targets for proton reactions, 10 targets together for d, t and He3, 20 for thermal neutron scattering, 163 for photonuclear reactions and others.

ENDF/B-VI.8

ENDF/B-VI.8 library has been superseeded by ENDF/B-VII.0 in December 2006. The library was issued in October 2001 and has been frozen since then. Neutron sublibrary contains data for 328 materials, out of which 13 are elemental evaluations and 315 are isotopic.
