Individuals are not eligible to receive early retirement benefits from a US Airways pension plan while continuing to work for the reorganized US Airways.  Early retirement benefits are those paid before your pension plan's normal retirement age, in most cases age 65.

If you are currently employed by US Airways and are receiving an early retirement benefit from a US Airways pension plan, your benefit will be suspended.  The benefit will resume when you reach normal retirement age or stop working for US Airways.  Benefit suspensions will begin in the next few weeks.  The PBGC will contact you by letter at least 30 days before the benefit suspension takes effect.
