Are All Seats Safe?
All car seats rated by NHTSA meet Federal Safety Standards & strict crash performance standards. While all rated seats are safe, they do differ in their ease of use in four basic catagories:

Warning against using a lap belt only is missing or not alongside the belt routing directions.No/Incorrect CRS name on the manual/seat.
Securing the Child1 stars
Must remove or replace harness to convert to this mode.Loose mandatory pieces exist if seat is disassembled for cleaning.
Installation Features4 stars
The shoulder belt may slip out of the belt positoning device accidentally.
