How to select the appropriate gloves

Glove Selection

1. Choose the appropriate glove based upon the operating conditions:
• manipulation of glassware and other equipment
• solvents and reagents (see list on next page)
• temperature (Cryo gloves (blue ones) should not be used to hold hot objects) immersion time
2. Periodically inspect the gloves you are wearing for signals of degradation:
   • swelling and wrinkling
   • hardening
   • deterioration
   • delamination
   • discoloration
