DOING BUSINESS WITH THE FOREST
SERVICE
General Information
We've
changed the way we do business! Important
changes affecting the way the Forest Service does business with it's contractors
and vendors have taken place. These
changes affect the way solicitation and award
information is made available for review, a faster method of payments,
and an overall greater dependence on the Internet and electronic methods
of doing business. The document "Important
Contractor Information" outlines some of these changes, as well
as some of the links to other government websites. The "Doing
Business with Us" brochure provides more detailed information
concerning the steps you need to take to access our solicitations.
As of October 1, 2003, the Federal Acquisition Regulations now require all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract or agreement. To register, simply click on this link -> Central Contractor Registration. Follow the instructions on the left side of the page which this link brings up.
