Sharing the Northwest Fisheries Science Center's work and communicating with other scientists, with decision-makers, and with the public is critical. The Scientific Writing and Communications Team is an important link between the Center and its constituencies. The Team strives to increase
awareness and support for the Center's work; foster understanding and use of the Center's information, products, and services; and improve stewardship of coastal and marine resources. The Team builds relationships with the Center's partners and produces a variety of products, including websites, brochures, educational programs and activities, and public events. In each project, the Team works to create products that effectively engage the intended audience. Team expertise includes graphics, scientific writing, education, media, and public relations.
