The research in the Population Biology Program helps to form the foundation for conservation and recovery efforts of endangered species. Scientists in this Program identify the risk factors involved in the decline and the recovery of fish populations. They also contribute to development of monitoring and evaluation tools and investigate factors influencing salmon straying, colonization and the survival and distribution of migrating fish.

Please feel free to contact Jeff Hard with questions, comments or concerns.
