Synopsis :
At 2:00 p.m. today, the eye of Typhoon "NINA" was located based on satellite and surface data at 430 kms East Northeast of Casiguran, Aurora (17.2°N,126.4°E) with maximum sustained winds of 120 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 150 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 19 kph.

All planets will lie among the background stars of the constellation Virgo, the virgin.

LA NIÑA ADVISORY No. 10 (FINAL) (2 July 2008)
The La Niña episode that started September 2007 has ended. Current sea surface temperature observations in the central and eastern equatorial Pacific are close to their average, or normal values. Near-neutral conditions are expected to continue over the coming months, as shown by atmospheric and oceanic indicators and model forecasts.
