• A Guide to Tribal Ownership of a National Bank (September, 2002) is an OCC publication designed to help federally recognized Native American tribes explore entry into the national banking system by establishing, or acquiring control of, a national bank.

• OCC's Fall 2001 Community Developments Newsletter "Banking in Indian Country" contains articles addressing how financial institutions, tribal organizations, and others have developed partnerships that lead to increased access to lending and other financial services on tribal lands.
