Circular Letter No. 558

May 13, 2004

TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government

SUBJECT: Closing of Denver Regional Printing Plant

This Circular Letter is to notify you that effective May 1, 2004, the Denver, Colorado, Regional Printing Plant was closed. The Denver Regional Printing Plant has experienced a steadily declining workload over the past several years and the decision to close the plant was made to stem the financial losses resulting from this decline.

The Denver Regional Printing Procurement Office (RPPO) will remain in operation and continue to serve GPO's customers located in the Denver area. The
address is:

Denver Federal Center
Building 53, Room D-1010
Denver, CO 80225-0347

Special note regarding security work: Each GPO procurement office is able to meet your security requirements by contracting with vendors who possess security clearances at the necessary levels. At your option, security jobs may also be submitted to the GPO Central Office, Washington, DC. Please remember to transmit all security work to GPO via your agency's security handling guidelines.

If you have any questions regarding this Circular Letter or you would like more information about the services offered by the Denver RPPO, please call 303-236-5292.

Sincerely,

JIM BRADLEY
Managing Director, Customer Services
