The Family Caregiver Support Program assists family members who are caring for a frail, elderly relative living in the same home. Caregivers who reside with younger adult relatives with chronic dementia may also be eligible. Services include financial assistance to purchase services or supplies that assist in caregiving; home modifications; and counseling and education. Eligibility is based on age, an assessment of care needs, and household income.
