The transition from school to the adult world of work is difficult, especially for youth with disabilities. Many find there is little coordination of services and supports to help them find and retain jobs as they move from school into the workplace.
This web-assisted audioconference will give legislators and legislative staff the opportunity to learn about and discuss problems and solutions related to education issues that affect youth with disabilities. The session will provide an overview of testing as well as key federal and state legislation and their relationship to transition success.
