Outstanding Contributions Awards are presented by the Committee
annually to publicly honor Federal personnel who have shown exemplary
support of the JWOD Program. Nominations are submitted by NIB and
NISH to the Committee staff, who makes the final decision in naming
the award winners based on a narrative addressing the individual's
accomplishments, such as their knowledge of the JWOD Program; the
number of additions they have made to the procurement list and number
of jobs created; and proactive support of JWOD through training
sessions, referrals, and public speaking.
