NOAA TO HOST ENVIRONMENTAL SATELLITE CONFERENCE

The National Environmental Satellite, Data and Information Service (NESDIS), an agency of the Commerce Department's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), will host MAXI Review 2002 Conference October 29-31 to present the status of current and future federal environmental satellite systems. Reporters will have the opportunity to see a portable real-time data field terminal and a mobile satellite command center demonstration. The National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS) Integrated Program Office's Director and TRW's Vice President for NPOESS will be available for interviews.
