Our New Design: Home Page

This website has been redesigned to make it easier to use. A consistent navigation bar appears on every page to make it easier to find funding, news and information about NSF. A few features, including the Directorates, have moved or changed names. Click a number below to explore the new home page.

The NSF website has a new look, with many new and improved features:

		A search function is found in the upper right-hand corner of most pages. It allows you to limit your search to a specific content type or search the entire NSF website.

		A navigation bar at the top of the page makes it easy to find most content.

		Funding opportunities can be reached from the Funding link in the top navigation bar. The main Funding page has new features, including an A-Z Index and an Advanced Funding Search.

		To learn About NSF, click the About link in the top navigation bar, or click the Who We Are, What We Do, How We Work links in the home page right column.

		The Staff Directory is found in the About section and can be accessed directly from the left column of the home page.

		NSF Directorates can be accessed from the Program Areas drop-down list in the green box on the home page, or by clicking the green Research & Education Community button.

		The Custom News Service is now called MyNSF, and can be reached from the home page left column. This feature allows you to sign up for email notifications of NSF programs, news and more.

		Educational opportunities are listed on the Specialized Information For pages available from the NSF home page and the home page of each Division.

		NSF Offices can be accessed from the NSF Organizations drop-down list in the home page left column, and from the NSF Organization list.

		Go to the Awards section to see abstracts of projects NSF has funded.

		News has been expanded to include Special Reports, Overviews of NSF Research and more. A multimedia gallery now allows you to find NSF images, audio, video, screensavers and more.

		An Events Calendar shows upcoming events, meetings and more.

		Now Showing is a new section featuring NSF-funded films, TV, museum exhibits and more.

		Classroom Resources are now available for educators from the home page right column.
