The title NM EPSCoR is an acronym that stands for New Mexico Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research . NM EPSCoR fulfills this title by gathering resources and expertise from academic institutions, our national labs, private industry, and state and federal sources to benefit education, the environment, and the New Mexico economy.

The ' NEW' NM EPSCoR Research Infrastructure Improvement (RII) grant, funded by the National Science Foundation, targets interrelated research and development opportunities of direct, immediate, and passionate concern to New Mexicans.

Center for the Environmental Implications RFP
This solicitation requests proposals to create a national Center to conduct fundamental research and education on the implications of nanotechnology for the environment and living systems at all scales. The Center will address interactions of naturally derived, incidental and engineered nanoparticles and nanostructured materials, devices and systems (herein called "nanomaterials") with the living world.
