USA Freedom Corps - Make a Difference. Volunteer.

Friends of USA Freedom Corps,

Last night, the President addressed the nation from New Orleans. He discussed our commitment to meet the needs of those suffering and to help the people of the Gulf Coast rebuild their lives and communities. And he called on all Americans to do their part in contributing to this great national enterprise.

This may be the largest volunteer mobilization in our Nation’s history, and we at USA Freedom Corps are committed to doing everything we can to organize and support this effort. The attached document summarizes the steps USA Freedom Corps has already taken. And our website, www.usafreedomcorps.gov, includes more information we are providing to help Americans answer the President’s new call to service.

In the days and months ahead, we will rely heavily on your input and contributions, as we pursue this mission together. Please keep us informed of your ongoing efforts so we can continue to serve as your advocate and ensure that you are empowered in the broader strategy for reconstruction.
