SAMHSA's Office of Applied Studies provides public use files from its
major data collection systems for on-line analysis. No personal
identifiers are available from our data systems. These public
use files are archived in the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Data Archive
(SAMHDA). SAMHDA is managed by the
Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) at
the University of Michigan. When ready to do the on-line analysis,
you will be leaving the SAMHSA website and going to their website.
The SAMHDA public use files contain no personal identifiers
and have been subjected to a statistical disclosure review to address
the public's concern for privacy. For further information on these
confidentiality
protection procedures for public use files, click here. This
