Background
Don Van Doornik earned a B.S. in biology from Seattle Pacific University. He has been working at NWFSC's Manchester Research Laboratory since 1990.

Current Research
Don's current work involves the collection of microsatellite genetic data for salmonids. This data is used for applications such as stock identification of mixed-fisheries, population structure studies, paternity testing for reproductive success research, and studies of life history variation.
