NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service - Northwest Region
We conserve, protect and manage Pacific salmon, groundfish, halibut and marine mammals and their habitats under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and other laws

NOAA Fisheries Service is receiving locally prepared salmon recovery plans. The Northwest Region is supplementing those plans to ensure they meet ESA requirements, and proposing to adopt them. The public is invited to review and comment on these proposed recovery plans.

Congress established PCSRF to contribute to the restoration and conservation of Pacific salmon and steelhead populations and their habitats. The 2008 PCSRF Report to Congress is now available. Program partners have developed PCSRF performance measures (PDF 694KB) and report them to Congress.
