Who: Mayor Ron Littlefield, County Mayor Claude Ramsey, Congressman Zach Wamp, UTC Chancellor Roger Brown, Brown Academy students and members of the community.

What: The opening of the long anticipated University Greenway which connects the MLK Neighborhood and UTC to the Tennessee Riverpark System.

When: Thursday, August 25, 2005 at 2 p.m.

Where: Brown Academy Elementary School at the corner of East 8th Street and Baldwin Street.

Parking: Parking will be available on 8th Street and/or at the Mt. Olivet Church on MLK Boulevard next to school.  The event begins promptly at 2 p.m. and should last no more that 25 minutes.
