3rd annual Go!Fest

Chattanooga, Tennessee- The third annual Go!Fest celebration will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 from 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Chattanooga Zoo and Frost Stadium at Warner Park.

 

Go!Fest is a free event and open to the public. It is an initiative created three years ago by Mayor Ron Littlefield to increase disability awareness and to help make Chattanooga a more inclusive community for people of all abilities. Free tickets may be printed off the Go!Fest website at http://www.gofestchattanooga.org/ or may be obtained at the following local distribution sites. One ticket is valid for the entire family.

This year’s Go!Fest will showcase various talents from local artists including the Kids on the Block,  the Creative Discovery Museum’s, Kids Like You, Kids Like Me, the Deaf, Deaf, World exhibit, and the concert at Frost Stadium will feature local artist Jennifer Daniels among others. There will be a career fair showcasing various schools, organizations, hospitals, and companies dedicated to serving clients and hiring employees with disabilities.

The hours of Go!Fest at the Chattanooga Zoo are 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and the live concert at Frost Stadium at Warner Park begins at 5:30 and ends around 7:30 pm. 

The event will be ADA compliant and completely accessible. A media box will be provided at the concert for all media attending.
