University Economic Development Association (non-Federal partner)

A new memorandum of understanding providing manufacturers with greater access to technology-based economic development resources was signed in February 2007 by Roger Kilmer, director of MEP, and John Roberts, president of the University Economic Development Association. Supported by Steve Holland, Center Director of the Montana MEP, and a UEDA board member, NIST MEP established a formal relationship encouraging MEP centers to interact with the University Economic Development community transferring technology through collaborative initiatives such as the Department of Labor’s Workforce Innovation for Regional Economic Development partnerships.
