Two Ways to Save on the TMS 2009 Annual Meeting
TMS Extends Discount Deadline; Hotels Reduce Rates
TMS
Posted on: 1/12/2009... TMS annual meeting attendees now have a new way to save: Four of the recommended hotels, including the TMS headquarters hotel, the San Francisco Marriott, have lowered their rates for the meeting. Last week, TMS extended the deadline for attendees to register at a discounted rate.

Anyone who registers prior to January 23 will receive $100 off the registration rate. In addition, housing savings of $100 or more are possible, depending on the length of stay, from the Marriott. Of the four hotels that have reduced their rates, the Marriott has offered the greatest savings, at $50 per night. By booking a room at the Marriott, attendees will be a short elevator ride from many of the student activities, lectures, and committee meetings.

The TMS 2009 Annual Meeting, to be held February 15–19 in San Francisco, will feature presentations by authors from across the globe and a variety of events for all attendees. To register and reserve housing for TMS 2009, visit the Annual Meeting homepage and click on the Registration button. A PDF version of the registration form can also be downloaded, completed, and mailed or faxed to TMS. To view the discounted hotel rates and book a room, click on the Housing and Travel button.

A MESSAGE TO TMS MEMBERS
Warren Hunt, TMS Executive Director I am writing in follow up to my earlier message concerning what TMS can do to help you during this difficult economic period. At that time, I noted that TMS staff would work to develop a new resource on financial planning and management as well employment security.
