The Bad Bug Book is a comprehensive reference site for the full range of foodborne pathogens including pathenogenic bacteria such as salmonella, campylobacter, and vibrio; the enterovirulent escherichia coli group (e-coli); parasitic protozoa and worms including giardia, cryptosporidium, and etnamoeba; viruses; natural toxins including ciguatera, shellfish toxins such as scombroid, mushroom toxins, and aflatoxins.
