Owned and maintained by National Data Buoy Center 1.8-meter discus buoy WAMDAS payload 24.388 N 81.949 W (24°23'17" N 81°56'55" W) Site elevation: sea level Anemometer height: 2 m above site elevation Barometer elevation: 0 m above mean sea level Water depth: 142.6 m Watch circle radius: 264 yards Station 42080 has gone adrift on 03/07/2008 and the last report from its moored position was at 1209Z.  It has since been recovered as of 3/13/2008.  Funding supporting operation and maintenance was severely reduced for fiscal year 2008. This buoy will be restored to service when funding becomes available in a future fiscal year. When the service date is known, it will be posted in the weekly maintenance report.
