MIPP Upgrade Proposal (P-960)

Following a request by the Fermilab management, MIPP submitted a proposal to the laboratory which was considered by the Fermilab PAC on October 19, 2006. The PAC found the set of proposed measurement to be very valuable in general. However, they felt that MIPP needs to

• Strengthen the collaboration further
• Show publishable quality results from its first run
• Give quantitative arguments as to how the proposed measurements will benefit the hadronic shower simulators, the neutrino program, and the missing baryon resonance search.

The Fermilab director concurred with the PAC findings.

ILC Calorimeter Review 2007

MIPP Upgrade got mention in two different places in the ILC calorimeter review document.
