The Erie County Department of Environment and Planning (DEP) has established a variety of programs to help public institutions, local governments, business, and the agricultural community develop and awareness and understanding for the interface between society and the environment. Erie County's Pollution Prevention (P2) Program provides information and technical assistance focusing on the protection of our natural resources through performance beyond compliance with environmental regulations.
