THIRD ANNUAL ART ON THE SQUARE PLANNED

Pre-Festival Wine Pairing Dinner to Kick-off the Event

(Mar. 31, 2003) -- Art on the Square, an annual art, music, and wine festival, will be held this year on Saturday, June 7th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Sponsored by the Lodi Arts Commission and the Lodi Arts Project Fund, in conjunction with the Lodi Appellation Winery Association, the festival will feature works of fine art from across the state.

» 20% of all sales will benefit the Lodi Arts Project Fund.
» Live music and dance performances by:
• The Sinclair Band
• Lodi Belly Dance Troupe
• Tapestry
• Hawaiian Legacy Dancers
• Guitarist/Vocalist, Todd Hillstrom
• The Leigh Wycoff Band
» Over 20 local wineries will provide tasting of
the newest and finest from the cellars of the region.
» Artist spaces are still available.

will be held on the First Friday (June 6th) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
in the Thomas Theatre Gallery
» A Special Wine Appreciation Dinner, hosted by
David Akioshi (of School Street Bistro) will be held
Friday, June 6th at 6:30 p.m. and will feature:
• Wine, appetizers, and special preview of work by
festival artists in Kirst Hall
• Private performance by Leigh Wycoff
• Premiere of new sparkling wine by local vitner
» Full dinner and wine pairing instruction by David Akioshi
