RAPE BY POLICE IMPERSONATOR
The Lodi Police Department is investigating a rape that occurred in the City Of Lodi on 040103. The victim met the suspect on-line approximately three weeks ago. After chatting on-line several times, they decided to meet. They met and ended up in Lodi. The suspect drove the Victim to an industrial area in town and sexually assaulted her by force. (The victim’s name is being kept confidential per her request)
The suspect, who was identified as Rodrigo Avalos Magallon a 26 year old male from The City Of Madera, identified himself as a Madera Police Officer. The suspect showed the victim a shield-style badge and had a gun in his pocket.
After the assault the suspect drove the victim to Galt and dropped her off. He was driving a white 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix 4-door with Ca. License Plate #4xju429. The vehicle was reported stolen by the suspects’ sister on 040103.
This office contacted the Madera office and confirmed that the suspect is not employed as a police officer.
