Northwest District Meet the Beat & Washington Wildcat Carnival

Wednesday, August 6, 2003 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

The Lodi Police Department invites citizens to attend the Northwest District “Meet the Beat” at Washington Elementary School on Wednesday August 6, 2003.  Citizens will have a chance to meet and talk with the Police Officers who patrol the Northwest District. 

“Meet the Beat” is being held in conjunction with the George Washington Wildcat Carnival.  This fund raising carnival will feature games, food and a drawing for three bikes.  To win one of the bikes you must be a student at Washington School and be present for the drawing.  Tickets are being handed out to students at Washington School prior to the event.  The drawing will be held at 6:00 PM.

The Lodi Police Department K9 Unit will hold a demonstration at 6:00 PM.  Come out and see the SWAT Van, Motor Officers, Bomb/Arson Unit, Animal Services, Crime Prevention, Fire Department and Ambulance.  The Lodi Boys & Girls Club, Parks and Recreation Department, Women’s Center, Jr. Giants and more will also be handing out information. 

This is a great opportunity for families to learn about services available through the Lodi Police Department, and other agencies in the County.
